Astrome, a women-led startup, has developed an innovative wireless product that gives fibre like bandwidth at fraction of the cost of fibre to help telecom operators deliver reliable low-cost internet services to suburban and rural areas.
Reaching internet access to remote places in countries like India is difficult because laying fibre is too expensive. There is a need for wireless backhaul products that can deliver low cost, high data capacity, and wide reach. Currently available wireless backhaul products either do not provide sufficient data speeds or the required range or are very expensive to deploy.
Astrome’s wireless product, called `Giga Mesh, could enable telecom operators deploy quality, high-speed rural telecom infrastructure at 5 times lower cost. Rural connectivity customers and defence customers who have already signed up for pilots will soon witness the demonstration of this product by Astrome.

Israeli soldiers broke into Ghazi Kanaan s house in Ras el Amoud district on Wednesday and threatened to arrest him just 24 hours after he had served 11 years in prison for opposing Tel Aviv s military occupation, WAFA news agency reported.
In another incident, Israeli soldiers surrounded the neighborhood and broke into the home of another Palestinian activist, whom the source refrains from revealing, earlier this week, and his family and friends welcomed him home after being imprisoned for 20 years.

This role is to cover upto 3 clinics on separate sites for upto 3-15 hours per week. There is some initial flexibility in the timings and days of these clinics to suit you, and we are open to offering this post to cover all three clinics or just one or two depending on your availability
You will be addressing the MSK health of the working population, including manual and sedentary workers and treating both work and non-work related injuries. You will take a holistic approach, addressing biopsychosocial factors, as well as contributing to injury prevention strategy and fostering broader positive health behaviours.
Outdoor enthusiasts can now enjoy the spring weather at one of the Ohioâs designated All-Purpose Vehicle (APV) areas, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR). The APV areas are located on four state forest properties: Maumee in northwest Ohio, Pike and Richland Furnace in southern Ohio, and Perry in east-central Ohio.
Pike, Richland Furnace, and Perry state forests open on April 1 for APV trail use. They will close in the fall after the last day of regular deer-gun season. The APV area at Maumee State Forest is open year-round, and snowmobile use is allowed when conditions permit. The APV areas are maintained by the ODNR Division of Forestry.
